Marenostrum Fuengirola 2026
A whole summer of big-name concerts inside a Moorish castle on the Costa del Sol seafront.
For sheer scale, Marenostrum is the Costa del Sol's biggest live-music season: roughly three dozen concerts spread from June to mid-September, all staged in the grounds of the Castillo Sohail, the floodlit Moorish fortress on the edge of Fuengirola. The 2026 bill mixes international stars with Spanish heavyweights — names like Sting, Alejandro Sanz, Gipsy Kings and Aitana have featured across recent seasons.
What to expect. A different headliner most nights, an open-air setting with the castle as a backdrop and the sea just beyond, and tickets sold per concert rather than as a festival pass. Popular nights sell out well in advance, so book once the line-up firms up.
Practical bit. The castle sits beside the Río Fuengirola at the western end of town. The Cercanías train from Málaga and the airport stops in Fuengirola, which suits some visitors — but if you're staying further along the coast or heading off afterwards, a hire car makes the late finish much easier than waiting for the last train.
