Festes de Sant Jaume 2026 — Alcúdia
Alcúdia's patron-saint week fills the walled old town with street parties, an artisan fair and fireworks.
Alcúdia celebrates its patron, Sant Jaume (St James), around his feast day on 25 July, and the medieval walled town is the perfect stage for it. Expect days of correfocs, concerts and verbenas, an artisan and produce market in the old streets, parades for all ages and a fireworks finale — a warm, community-run fiesta in one of Mallorca's most handsome historic centres.
What to expect. A proper town fiesta rather than a tourist show, centred on the lanes inside the Roman and medieval walls. The programme builds over several days around 25 July; confirm the exact dates with the ajuntament before travelling.
Practical bit. Alcúdia and its long beach sit at the far north of the island, a good hour from Palma. A hire car makes the most of the area — the old town fiesta by night, plus Cap de Formentor, the S'Albufera wetlands and the quiet coves around the headland by day.
