Sunset Music from the Sea (Boat Concert)
A one-hour evening boat excursion across Cartagena's natural harbour at sunset, with live music from singer Laura Russin. Limited to 40 passengers per sailing, it's a relaxed, scenic experience suitable for all ages and language backgrounds.
The tourist boat slips out from the Escala Real around nine in the evening, just as the light over Cartagena's harbour starts to soften and turn gold. For the next hour or so you drift across one of the best-protected natural ports on the Spanish coast, past the old fortifications and the working docks, while singer Laura Russin performs live on deck. Boarding opens about fifteen minutes before departure, so there's time to find a spot by the rail.
They keep numbers to forty per sailing, which makes it feel more like an evening out with a few friends than a packed tourist cruise. No need for any Spanish to enjoy it. Tickets are 18 EUR, or 9 EUR if you're a Club Cartagena Puerto de Culturas member, and it runs on Thursdays through July and August.
