Starlite Occident 2026
Marbella's glamorous summer-long festival in a floodlit quarry — big international names from June to late August.
Starlite is the Costa del Sol's marquee music event, and the setting is half the appeal: a former marble quarry on the edge of Marbella, its rock walls floodlit, transformed into an open-air amphitheatre under the stars. Across a remarkable ten-week run, it brings a stream of international and Spanish headliners to a town that takes its summer nights seriously.
What to expect. Concerts run most nights from late June through to the end of August, with a line-up that mixes global stars with Spanish favourites. Around the music, the site has restaurants and bars that stay busy well after the last song — this is as much a night out as a gig.
Practical bit. The quarry sits up above Marbella in the Sierra Blanca foothills, a few minutes from the centre but not somewhere you'd want to walk to. Taxis get very busy at kick-out time, so many visitors drive; a hire car makes the late finish far easier, especially if you're staying along the coast in Fuengirola, Estepona or Puerto Banús. Book concert tickets well ahead — the popular nights sell out.
Check the official site for the season's full line-up and dates, then plan the rest of your evening around it.
