Music in the Bars Circuit 2026 - Vintagers (reggae, rock & roll, pop)
Free open-air live music in a village bar as part of the 13th Music in the Bars circuit. The Vintagers, a band from the Marina Baixa, play reggae, rock & roll, pop and 1980s classics from groups like Dire Straits across two sets.
Els Poblets does this rather lovely thing each summer: instead of one big stage, the music comes to the bars. For the thirteenth year running, a handful of village watering holes take turns hosting a free band on Friday nights through to early July, and you simply turn up, grab a drink and a seat outside, and let the evening unfold.
This particular Friday it's Bar Gladis on Camí Guadiana, with The Vintagers doing the honours. They're a local lot from the Marina Baixa and they know their crowd, working through two sets of reggae, rock and roll, pop and a fair few 1980s favourites, Dire Straits among them. No ticket, no fuss. Pull up a chair, order something cold, and stay for as long as the songs keep coming.
