Beach Cinema: How to Train Your Dragon (Live Action)
Free open-air film screening on Cala de Finestrat beach, showing the live-action 'How to Train Your Dragon'. A relaxed family night by the sea, part of the town's summer beach-cinema series. Likely shown in Spanish, so best for visual family enjoyment.
The screening starts at 10pm, once the sun is properly down and the sand has cooled off, so it's a late one for younger kids but a lovely way to round off a beach day. Finestrat's town hall puts it on for free as part of the summer cultural programme, on the small cove at Cala de Finestrat. Bring a towel or a low chair, something warm for when the sea breeze picks up, and maybe a few snacks.
The film is the live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon, almost certainly dubbed into Spanish. That won't matter much if the kids already know the story, and the visuals carry it either way. If you fancy more, the same series brings Space Jam on 16 July and Wonka on 6 August.
