Gaudí and Nature (Photography Exhibition)
A photographic exhibition exploring how the natural world shaped Antoni Gaudí's creative imagination, interpreting his universe through light, nature and form. On show all summer at Reus's image centre, CIMIR, as part of the 2026 Any Gaudí programme.
Gaudí grew up in and around Reus, and you can see the countryside in nearly everything he built: branching columns like tree trunks, ceilings that ripple like waves, tiles the colour of lizard skin. This exhibition pulls that thread out into the open, setting photographs of the natural world beside the forms it inspired, so the link between a snail shell and a spiral staircase suddenly makes sense.
It runs through the summer at CIMIR, the town's image centre, as part of Reus's 2026 Any Gaudí programme marking a hundred years since the architect's death. It's an easy hour to fold into a morning's wander around Reus. Worth the detour if you're staying along the Costa Daurada and want a break from the beach with a bit of substance to it. Check the centre's hours before you set off, as smaller venues here often close over lunch.
