Punta Umbría has been building its summer live-music offer, and the Festival Punta de Luna is among the newer additions — concerts staged in the open-air Plaza de las Artes during August. For a coast that's long been under-served compared with the bigger costas, it's a welcome reason to add a night out to a beach holiday on the Costa de la Luz.

A hire car is the practical way in — and lets you reach the wider Costa de la Luz beaches and the Doñana fringe around your festival night.
