Cultura d'Estiu: Open-Air Summer Circus & Games
Free outdoor summer evenings of contemporary circus, gestural comedy and giant wooden games in the town squares. All shows are text-free and open to all ages, so language is no barrier.
The squares fill up early. From six in the evening, the Jugueroix games stations are set out for anyone who fancies a go: oversized wooden puzzles and contraptions that keep small hands busy while the adults find a seat and a cold drink. Then around half past eight the performances start. Expect Poi from Cia des Tro, a contemporary circus turn, and Wet Floor by Cris Clown, a bit of gestural clowning that gets the kids laughing without a word being spoken.
That last point matters here. Everything is wordless, so it doesn't matter whether your Spanish stretches past ordering coffee. The action moves between Santa Eulària and the smaller village of Santa Gertrudis over two weekends, in late June and again in late July. It's free, it's relaxed, and it's the kind of warm island evening you stumble into rather than plan.
