Molí Market (Summer Night Market)
A relaxed evening market in the whitewashed streets of pretty Sant Lluís, with local artisans selling handmade crafts, jewellery and ceramics alongside live music. The perfect excuse for a sunset stroll through one of Menorca's most picturesque villages.
Things only really get going once the worst of the heat has passed. From about seven in the evening, a stretch of Sant Lluís fills with more than forty stalls of makers and creatives, with handmade jewellery, ceramics and craftwork rather than the usual tourist tat. Live music plays somewhere along the way, so you drift from stall to stall with a soundtrack and the windmill, the Molí de Dalt, keeping watch over the whitewashed lanes.
It runs until eleven, which gives you no reason to rush. Wander down for sunset, browse properly, then settle in at one of the village terraces for a drink and something to eat once you've finished. Entry's free, the pace is unhurried, and a handful of summer Fridays is about all it amounts to, so it's worth lining up with your week if you're nearby.
