Pedro Guerra Acoustic: 'De Golosinas a Parceiros'

Pedro Guerra is a name most Spanish music fans know by heart. For this show he strips things right back, just his voice and a guitar, and works through more than thirty years of songs. Expect tracks from his 1995 live debut Golosinas, including the much-loved "El marido de la peluquera", alongside newer material drawn from his Parceiros collaborations. His songs lean on everyday stories, love and the odd bit of quiet protest, and they carry well in a small room.

The Teatro Cine Realejos is an old town theatre, the kind of place where you actually hear every word. The lyrics are in Spanish, so a little of the language helps, but the warmth comes through regardless. The performance starts at 8.30pm and tickets are 15 euros.
