Miki Dkai: You Are Wonderful (stand-up comedy)
Spanish comedian Miki Dkai performs a stand-up monologue full of hilarious everyday anecdotes about living in a house full of women (his wife and three daughters). Performed entirely in Spanish, best suited to Spanish-speaking residents.
Miki Dkai builds his hour around something most parents will recognise: being the only man in a house full of women, in his case a wife and three daughters. The result is an evening of domestic confessions, the small daily skirmishes over bathrooms, hair and feelings, told with the warmth of someone who clearly adores the chaos he's complaining about.
A word of warning, though. The whole set is in Spanish, and it leans hard on wordplay and the rhythm of family life here, so you'll get far more out of it if your Spanish is up to speed. If it is, the Fundació CaixaCallosa is a friendly, modestly sized room in Callosa d'en Sarrià where the laughter carries. Tickets are sold through the venue's box office in advance.
